Globe Telcom in Philippines officially announced the lauch date of iPhone 3G i.e August 22
On August 22, Philippines will have the iPhones in their hand. This is the same date when iPhone 3g will be launched worldwide. People at Philippines can pre order the iPhone through the subscriber website. Iphone in Philippines iPhones would be available with a post paid connection. Globe Telcom is offering $23 discount for first 1,000 sales.
Philippines people will have 8GB & 16GB versions of iPhone, With white & Black color. 16GB is in only white color.
The lowest monthly price plan is for the 8GB version, at 1,599 pesos (US$36), and subscribers will have to shell out an additional 16,800 pesos (US$382). For the 16GB iPhone, subscribers will have to fork out an additional 22,300 pesos (US$508). The highest monthly fee bundle, at 4,999 pesos (US$113), will let the subscribers to get the 8GB for free. For the 16GB iPhone, subscribers will have to pay an additional 5,500 (US$126).
