Which converter software improves the effects of interlacing video using de-interlacing?

To remove the jaggedness from the interlaced video it needs to be de-interlaced so that the picture should be viewed properly and more genuinely, so since I want to convert some of my favorite videos of MOD format to other formats I need this clarity in it. But the problem is I don’t know in which Converter this technique is inbuilt. So, please if you know any of them then please let me know.
