Unable to access to the Damaged EDB File ?

While getting access to the contents of an EDB File, I am getting the following error message:

• Event ID: 125
Event Source: ESE97
Event Type: Error

• Event ID: 7024
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Type: Error

How can I resolve this error problem so that I am able to access the data in that damaged EDB file? Is there any good software available that can repair the damaged EDB file? Kindly help me.

In order to get access to the damage EDB file, you can go through the following EDB Repair method that is mentioned below:

• Stop all the services of the Exchange Server that is running on the computer.
• Use the Eseutil.exe utility that will dump the header of the database files of
Exchange Server and then make sure that the database is in clean shut
down state
• Delete the transaction logs and the checkpoint files by using the Windows
Explorer
• Start the Exchange Server services that was stopped previously

In this way, by following these steps you can get access to the contents of the damaged EDB File. If you want to repair the EDB File, then you can go for various repair software like Stellar Phoenix, Kernel etc.
