SD card is not readable and thus I lost photos ?

I am having Ixus 40 and a SD card. I was trying to access the SD card but I gain any process ahead. The SD card is showing error and displaying the message that the card is locked although locking is not enabled. I don’t want to loose my photo what should I do?

hilena 		Memory card is the place where photos, pictures and other things are stored. If it gets corrupted and displays error then first thing you should do is check the format of the file. If the format is okay then check that the memory card inserted is in the perfect way or not. If the memory card is not in the way in which it should have to be then the error may be coming. As you are saying that it is displaying that the memory card is unlocked and the message appears saying that it is locked then may be it is locked or you have forgotten that the card is locked. Check that! If it is done! Then try third party memory card recovery software.

nehilia 		There is nothing to panic about. If the error is coming then that can be hinder by anti process which comes in the form of application. Before using any photo recovery application check that the SD card is unlocked or not. Then after completing the checking schedule execute the software to recover data from the card. This will take your less time will also cost you less. If this is not for you then your can change your SD card and then try to recover those photos again.
