Is it possible to resolve lens error?

I have purchased Olympus digital camera it worked well for some day but when I have used zoom function and after use tried to turn off the camera then the lens was still and does not go back and displays “Lens error, restart camera”. So I Want to ask that is it possible to resolve the problem.

cathee 		This problem generally happens because of the lens gets hit while in extended mode. This might happen that if you are using zoom function for the first time then it may be possible that you have purchased a defective piece that might have returned after damaging it and same was sold to you. But whatever may be the reason the resolution of the lens error is possible. You can use Olympus photo recovery software; it has been especially designed to recover the lost or deleted photos and pictures along with error.
