Is it possible to recover the data from the Linux hard drive when the Disk Doctors Linux Data Recovery program works under the Windows ?

I was working on my Linux system and suddenly power fails. Now I am unable to access my Linux file system. I have installed Disk Doctors Linux data recovery program on another system but the operating system is windows 2007. Can I recover my Linux hard drive when the software is installed on windows?

Disk Doctors Linux Recovery program is the win32 executable and it has to be installed on the Windows machine. The Linux volume from where the data has to be recovered should be then attached as the secondary drive to the Windows machine to recover the data from it.

On the other hand Disk Doctors Linux data recovery is the only software which can preserve some special Linux features under the Windows yet after the files have been saved to any of the Windows partition. The files when transferred back would have the special features kept using the special utility of the Disk Doctors Linux recovery program.
