How to solve “The database page read failed verification…” error of Exchange Server?

Again an Exchange Server error, I don’t know why every time I try to work over the Exchange Server I trap into an error message. This time I got –

“The database page read failed verification because of a -1018 error (page number mismatch)”

When I checked the event log it is associated with event ID 475. I was simply backing up the files online and got this. I have no idea about this error message please help me out. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

johnsharp 		Well coming straight to the point, this error message is typical symptom of damage of Exchange database at page level and it occurs when the database page read fails verification because of mismatch in the page number. It clearly indicates that the database page that has been referenced in the store file is damaged and is caused due to firmware, driver or hardware issues. In order to resolve this issue run the system diagnostics to determine the exact root of the problem. After that, upgrade the disk firmware and controller BIOS to the latest version available. If the problem persists then run the inbuilt eseutil utility as this will deleted the corrupted pages from the database and will try to repair the database. If it also fails to repair the EDB file then the only way to rectify the issue is by using any third party software like EDB Repair. This will scan the entire bug of the database and will resolve the issue instantly. I hope this will help you out.
