How the “Initialization of PSD access failed” error message can be rectified?

While working on Adobe Photoshop repair software suddenly my system restarted. It was due to power fluctuation because my UPS is out of work. So, when my PC started I tried to start Photoshop CS3, but it has given an error message “Initialization of PSD access failed” and terminates. I don’t know what to do. I have an important project to submit, please help me out.

johnsharp 		Well, why don’t you shut down your system and try to re-start the Photoshop again. I am sure it will work. But if it still giving the same error message then I am also sure that your Photoshop PSD file is corrupted. It will not work until you re-install Photoshop or repair PSD. Re-installation is a bit untidy work to do and also time consuming, so it is better if you repair the existing PSD file. You can use any Photoshop Repair tool to repair your PSD file and it will definitely give you desired result.
