whenever such unusual errors or unexpected behavior is exhibited, probability of the PPT files being corrupted or damaged is high. However need not worry; as Microsoft has provided troubleshooting mechanism for PowerPoint repair, it is as follows-
• Restart the system in safe mode
• Open PowerPoint application
• From file menu click select new option
• From insert menu, click slides from files, and after clicking on find presentation tab, browse to locate damaged PPT file, open it
• Select insert all
And with this all slides from damaged presentation is restored in new PPT file and then it ca be saved to a user defined location.
