Can 4easysoft Mod Converter application convert .mod files to .MPEG or .AVI?

I take some superb video with my friend’s GR-D250 Camcorder, but recorded videos are .mod file. These videos are not accessible in my windows movie make program. He suggests me to use 4easysoft Mod Converter program to convert it in .MPEG or .AVI video formats. Can anyone suggest me best application for convert .mod files?
