Blue screen of death displaying IRQL NOT LESS THAN EQUAL and STOP 0x0000000A error message on boot up?

Today when I switched on my system (Windows Vista) it did not boot up and blank screen kept displaying with mouse, in safe mode too. Then I inserted vista disk and to reinstall repair but that too failed with IRQL NOT LESS THAN EQUAL and STOP error messages on blue screen of death. To me it seems to be something very serious, what to do? I have already tried chkdsk/r. what to do now, any help?

I think, moreover I believe it’s simply the case of error in the registry that is often acknowledged to user as blue screen of death. It’s good that you have used chkdsk/r but you need to work a bit more over it for windows registry repair, which in itself is a critical task. Check disk only removes bad sectors, and improves system performance by providing easier and fast access. Following chkdsk you will be able to get through safe mode for checking msconfig to see the startup programs and other related information and scan the system for registry error and repair them.
