Your friend has suggested you a right way to handle your outlook application problem. When the outlook application gets overloaded means when the PST file size exceeds its limit then the outlook began to respond abnormally and finally fails to open any file or folder. In such a case you remove the unwanted old data or cut down your PST file into small fragments .the choice is yours. But before that make a backup copy of all the outlook data that will help to regain any data or important file which can get lost in the process of deleting achieves or cutting down files in small fragments.
The best preferred way to create outlook backup is through Outlook Backup software. This perfect backup tool easily copies all the data and stores it for the user. The user interface of this application is so friendly that by only following the instructions on the software’s interface one can create a backup of its outlook. This software is compatible with all outlook version as well as all operating systems either of Windows or MAC.
