.doc and .xls files are corrupted. Recover them! ?

I need a technical help from you. Some days before the hard drives of my system were affected by Mywife.E@mm/win32 virus. All my word and excel file’s size have been condensed and data inside that is coming in different language. By changing the language I tried to open the files but I am not getting result. It is displaying a message that the drive in on corrupted. Should I use recovery tool to get my data? If not then what!

menura 		First of all you have not given any detail of your so called vista OS. How could I tell you anything about your problem? But any ways, few days ago, I was also victim of such virus attack. My files were not translated but they were not accessible at all. Then I searched for data recovery vista applications to get rid of such critical damage. There was many of them which confused me. I can only tell you about the mediums those are internet, Software Company and many more. All the best!

shiseria 		XP data recovery is not hard to perform when such corruption exist. Your system was infected and this led file conversion. The type of the virus affected your .doc and .xls file and damaged it. To contact the person who can repair such thing. This will cost you little bit. After the data is recovered make sure that you have protected your system from virus. Buy full version of antivirus and recovery tool so that you can take their help at least for one year.

hilena 		One thing which you have not mentioned in your question is which operating system you have. If you have stored window XP then you can recover your system from any data recovery XP software. The data which will be recovered using such third party software will also remove the translation issue and will give the original form of .XLS and .Doc file. Hope you will search the best software to regain your system data safely.
